23 Dec Coronado: 12 Days of San Diego Communities for Christmas!
Martin: Hey everybody, San Diego’s Favorite Son. And we are here with the lovely and talented
Kira: Kira Kennedy, San Diego’s Favorite Team.
Martin: That’s right. And we have an encore performance by MJ. Hey MJ, where are we?
MJ: Hotel Del Coronado
Martin: That’s right. We are here at the Hotel Del Coronado because we are day number 12 or the 12 communities of San Diego. This is where we always finish it because as you can see, Kira, take a look at this.
Kira: It’s the epitome of Christmas in San Diego here. We always got to leave it off on this.
Martin: We’re having a blast. I mean, it’s, COVID friendly. I should say it’s safe and you’re able to walk around and maintain some space.
Kira: Yeah. We’re 200 yards from the sand. Awesome. Can’t beat that.
Martin: Unbelievable, looking right out there. I mean this is, this is San Diego. So cool. So Christmas and that’s how we do this. And matter of fact, you’re capturing some of this going on right now. So before MJ takes off, because he wants to go be a part of that, Kira, tell us a little bit about what’s going on in Coronado.
Kira: Yeah. Detached homes in Coronado are median price point of $2.5 million. Attached is $1.5 million, and about 13 days on market, which is pretty interesting because last year it was about 60. And some fun facts about where we are right now at the hotel Del. Actually the person who wrote the Wizard of Oz, Frank Baum, he got his inspiration from the Hotel Del because he actually lived here himself. And his original house is still here with a little memorabilia of wizard of Oz. So pretty cool. I love that movie personally, so.
Martin: Right, so there’s tons of it. And, and, you know not only, and the thing about Coronado it beats to its own drum. I mean the real estate. It’s interesting. Like you’re seeing last year, 60 days now, 10 days. I mean, it’s just super interesting. You really got to know what’s going on here. So we’ve got to keep your fingers on the pulse of what’s happening. You know, look, we want to go have fun right now. That’s what we want to do. Before, I want to thank everybody who’s written so many great comments and watched this along the way. Thank you so much for your support.
Kira: Thank you guys!
Martin: I also want to take the time and thank someone who’s just amazing, really is, does all the groundwork. Ms. Kira, thank you so much for everything you do. You’re amazing. I really appreciate you. And MJ, I want to thank you for being a part in this encore performance.
Kira: Yeah MJ, couldn’t have done it without you.
Martin: He’s really excited. And then lastly, we want to thank our clients. This is awesome. You know, everything we touch, it goes to sold.
Kira: Real estate queen. Thank you, Anna and Christian, you guys are–we have the best clients ever.
Martin: Unbelievable. Hey, you guys be safe. We bless you. God bless you. And, you know, thanks so much for stopping by.
Kira: MJ, can you say, make it a great day?
MJ: Make it a great day.
Martin: That’s right!
Kira: We’re going to have some fun now.
Martin: Bye now!
